Bond has reinterpreted Jules Verne's classic novel "Around
the world in eight days" in his presentation at the BGA's Geotechnics
and IT Seminar on 31st October 2001. Following the route of Phileas
Fogg and his servant Passepartout, Andrew visits geotechnical web sites
based in ten cities throughout the world, from London to Dublin, via
Calcutta, Shanghai, and San Francisco.
