Changes to Repute's sign convention
Posted: Wed Jan 20, 2010 2:31 pmWe have had a number of questions regarding the sign convention used in Repute 2. The new program has adopted a left-hand notation which differs from the non-standard conventions used in Repute 1.x (which was based on that employed by PGROUP).
In Repute 2, positive forces go in the direction of the axis; positive moments go clockwise about the postive direction.
