Decoding Eurocode 7: Basis of geotechnical design

Synopsis

This course provides a thorough introduction to Eurocode 7 Part 1, looking especially at the verification of ultimate limit states GEO, STR, EQU, HYD, and UPL and the serviceability limit state.

Pre-requisites

The 'Basis' course requires no prior knowledge of Eurocode 7 and is an essential 'starter' for our more specialized Geotechnical Design courses on shallow foundations; deep foundations; pile foundations; and sheet pile walls. (Please note that this course was previously run under the title 'Introduction to Eurocode 7'.)

Dates of next one-day public courses

  • Leeds - 24th August 2010
  • London - 22nd September 2010

Speakers

'Decoding Eurocode 7: Basis of geotechnical design' is presented by Dr Andrew Bond. Want to know what previous delegates thought about our courses? Click here.
